Graduate Engineer
Able to take specific direction and complete engineering tasks, locating, routing and sizing system distribution with direction, do basic calculations and understand computer program inputs such as load calculations and photometrics. Competent in AutoCAD and/or REVIT. Bachelor’s degree.
Engineer I
Able to take limited direction and complete engineering tasks. Do self guided calculations and load calculations and photometrics. Competent in AutoCAD and/or REVIT. Understanding of systems and appropriateness for specific projects. Able to select equipment with understanding. Able to do small projects with limited guidance. Able to work with other engineers and give direction for CADD. Comfortable talking with vendors for basic system selections. Able to do productive field work with an understanding of purpose. Bachelor’s degree. 2-5 years of experience.
Engineer II
Able to complete small to medium engineering projects independently and large projects with limited direction. Do advanced calculations including energy calculations and electrical load studies. Competent in AutoCAD and/or REVIT. Complete understanding of systems, economics and appropriateness for specific projects. Able to select equipment with understanding. Able to direct other engineers and CADD operators. Able to do field work with complete understanding of purpose. Able to interact with clients, and Owners and represent MA Engineering. Bachelor’s degree. PE preferred. +5 years of experience.
Senior Engineer
Able to do large complex projects completely independently. Wants ownership of project and takes personal responsibility for technical details and deadlines. Competence includes system selection, economic analysis, supervision of others doing work on project, creating project specifications . Direct interaction with clients and Owners representing MA Engineering. Bachelor’s degree. PE preferred. +10 years of experience.
CADD/Tech I
Competent in CADD and/or Revit, understanding of MA CADD Standards and able to set up a project, able to input existing drawings into CADD, able to complete redlines of engineering work, able to size systems and do repetitive layouts with direction from engineer. High School Diploma/GED equivalent. 1 year of experience.
CADD/Tech II
Competent in CADD and/or Revit, understanding of MA CADD Standards and able to set up a project. Able to take specific direction and complete tasks including locating, routing and sizing system distribution, do basic calculations and understand computer program inputs such as load calculations and photometrics. High School Diploma/GED equivalent. +3 years of experience.
Senior CADD/Tech
Competent in CADD and/or Revit, understanding of MA CADD Standards and able to set up a project. Able to take limited direction and complete engineering tasks. Do self guided calculations and load calculations and photometrics. Basic understanding of systems. Able to elect and schedule equipment. Able to do small projects with limited guidance. Comfortable talking with vendors for basic system selections. Able to do productive field work with an understanding of purpose. High School Diploma/GED equivalent. +5 years of experience.
